 Periklanan mempunyai sifat-sifat :
 

1. Public Presentation, yaitu iklan memungkinkan setiap orang menerima pesanan yang sama tentang produk yang di-iklan-kan.
 

2. Pervasiveness, yaitu pesan iklan yang sama dapat diulang-ulang untuk menetapkan penerimaan informasi.
 

3. Amplified Expresiveness, yaitu iklan mampu mendramatisasi perusahaan dan produknya melalui gambar dan suara untuk menggoyangkan audience.
 

4. Impersonality, yaitu bersifat memaksa audience untuk memperhatikan dan menanggapinya, karena merupakan komunikasi yang menolong.

     Sifat Iklan dalam konteks komunikasi

1) Informasi dan Persuasi
Kata-kata seperti Informasi dan persuasi nampaknya sederhana. Namun, dari dua kata itulah terdapat ciri proses komunkasi. Informasi artinga memberi tahu apa yang dimaksudkan oleh pemberitahu / komunikator yang dalam hal ini diwakili oleh “iklan” untuk menunjukan adanya garis hubungan antara seseorang yang ingin menjual produknya kepada seseorang yang lain yang membutuhkan produk itu. Kunci periklanan justru terdapat pada kecanggihan merumuskan informasi itu ( Bagaimana memasarkan, dan siapa saja yang membutuhkan ).
Persuasi, dalam proses komunikasi sangat dibutuhkan karena aktivitas perpindahan informasi harus mengandung daya tarik dan menggugah suatu perasaan tertentu.
 
2) Pengontrol informasi
Karena informasi mengenai suatu produk tertentu disebarluaskan melalu media massa dan bersifat terbuka, maka sebelum dimasukan ke media informasi harus menempuh tahapan tertentu. Bisa meliputi isi, penggunaan waktu, ruang, dan tujuan khalayak sasaran.
 
3) Media Komunikasi Massa
Perbedaan iklan dngan teknik komunikasi pemasaran yang lain adalah dalam hal komunikasi nonpersonal. Maksudnya adalah dalam komunikasi iklan terdapat alur komunikasi antara si pemasang iklan / sponsor dengan orang pembuat jasa iklan.

Meskipun dalam beberapa kasus, iklan dapat diwujudkan dalam bentuk spanduk, baliho atau media periklanan lainnya yang berwujud secara fisik namun pada dasarnya hakikat iklan itu tidak berwujud atau abstrak. hal ini dikarenakan esensi iklan itu adalah pesan atau berita yang dibuat perusahaan yang tentu saja sifat pesan adalah abstrak.
 

b. Penyajian publik
Iklan bersifat general, umum dan lazim karena tujuan iklan adalah untuk dikomsumsi oleh masyarakat secara umum dan bersifat standar.
 

c. Kemampuan meresap
Iklan yang baik adalah iklan yang mempunyai kemampuan untuk meresap dan dimaknai sesuai dengan keinginan pemasang iklan.
 

d. Ekspresi yang diperkuat
Iklan yang baik harus mempunyai kemampuan untuk memperkuat ekspresi produk atau jasa dan bahkan citra perusahaan yang diiklankan melalui sarana warna, bentuk, animasi, suara dan pemilihan kata yang tepat.
 

e. Tidak mengenai orang tertentu
Iklan yang baik tidak menggambarkan atau ditujukan kepada seseorang secara subjektif melainkan bersifat umum

Hermione took the classes very much, even his friends wondered how he could follow all the classes he took. 4. Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire Harry, Hermione and the Weasley family went to watch the Quidditch World Cup finals when the evening there was chaos in the camp. The Death Eater wearing a mask came and burned the tents. Harry, who separated from his friends and had fainted, had seen a shadowy figure mumbled something and sends the Dark Mark into the sky, but when Ron and Hermione arrived, the person has gone. They were almost accused of being a person who releases the Dark Mark.When he returned to Hogwarts, they were surprised by the news that Hogwarts is hosting the home for the implementation of the Triwizard Tournament, a tournament which was held to strengthen the inter persaudaraaan School of Witchcraft. Two other schools are following this tournament is the head of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic Madame Maxime and Durmstrang Institute, led by Igor Karkaroff. Each school will be represented by one school champion, who will be selected after entering their names into the Goblet of Fire.Goblet of Fire has been spewing out 3 names for the three schools, namely Fleur Delacour from Beauxbatons, Viktor Krum from Durmstrang, and Cedric Diggory from Hogwarts when everyone thought the selection was over. But apparently the Goblet of Fire spewed back one name, Harry Potter. Everyone thought he was (which is still under age to follow the tournament) managed to fool Cup Such as Mad-Eye Moody, the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts this year, dismissing the notion of them, and say that it takes a very powerful magic to manipulate the Goblet of Fire . Although the two other schools protested, Harry finally established as one of the champions.Harry responses obtained from the closest people. Ron, his best friend during this time, a bit jealous of Harry's emergence as a champion, and they could not talk to each other. Hermione believes that it is not Harry, who put his name into the Goblet of Fire. Sirius is still on the run warn Harry to be careful because the tournament participants are particularly vulnerable to accidents. But then Dumbledore assigns Snape to teach Occlumency to shut his mind from Voldemort. The group realizes that the initials R.A.B. the pendant found with Dumbledore and Harry in book six is Regulus Arcturus Black, Sirius's brother. They began looking for a stolen Horcrux Regulus Black's family home. From Kreacher, they learned that he had helped Regulus in assisting Voldemort to place the locket Horcrux in the cave. When Regulus was disappointed with Dumbledore, he ordered Kreacher to come back to the cave and exchanged with a fake locket. Regulus was killed in the process In the end, they all realize that Mundungus Fletcher stole the locket and gave it to Dolores Umbridge.
After one month of spying on the Ministry of Magic, the trio managed to retrieve the Horcrux from Umbridge. In the process, they are known hideouts and forced to flee to a remote area, moving from one place to another, and can not stay long in one place.
Within a few months of moving around, they heard that the sword of Godric Gryffindor is actually false, and anyone doing something about the original sword. Of Phineas Black, Harry finds that the sword had last been used to destroy one of Dumbledore's Horcrux, the Gaunt ring. Ron then at loggerheads with Harry, and left Harry and Hermione. Underground, Harry and Ron imprisoned together with Dean Thomas, Griphook the goblin, Ollivander the wand maker, and Luna Lovegood. Harry tried to seek help and Dobby appears to save him. In an attempt to escape, they were stopped Wormtail who later killed by strangulation by Wormtail's silver hand made Voldemort without successfully rescued by Ron and Harry.
